Pittsylvania County Animal Shelter Fund

Pittsylvania County leadership has made a significant commitment to build a new Animal Shelter where every adoptable, healthy, well-behaved pet in need of a loving home will be provided one. The new shelter will provide significant improvements for the care of unclaimed dogs, cats and livestock as well as a more visible and easier access for area citizens interested in adoption.

Pittsylvania County is offering a limited time spay and neuter voucher valued at $40. The spay/neuter must be performed, or scheduled to be performed, no later than February 28, 2017. The program is for Pittsylvania County residents only and also offers a 10% discount with participating veterinarians. To download your voucher, go to www.pittsylvaniacountyva.gov.

Now you can support the new Animal Shelter, while also honoring the memory of a beloved pet, commemorating a special occasion or proclaiming your love and support of animals in need. A variety of giving opportunities are available, including ones for planned enhancements, pending funding.
