The Agency Emergency Fund was created by The Foundation in 2016 to offer assistance on a one-time basis to nonprofit agencies in our service area — Danville, VA, and the counties of Halifax and Pittsylvania as well as Caswell County, NC. Nonprofits that apply must have prior grant experience with The Foundation. Grants from Agency Emergency Funds may be awarded for up to $25,000 no more than once in a 5-year period. There are no deadlines for Agency Emergency Fund grants. Requests can be made at any time.
