Vince Kania, Sr., of accounting firm Kania & Associates, recently established two new funds at The Foundation. The Kania Family Fund will annually award grants to Sacred Heart Catholic School. The Kania Family Scholarship Fund, currently an Acorn Fund, will provide post-secondary educational scholarships for students attending West Virginia Wesleyan, West Virginia University, Averett University or Old Dominion University.
Kania attended West Virginia University where he received a bachelor of science degree and a master of business administration degree. In addition to the accounting firm, Kania worked at Averett University for many years, teaching in the business administration department.
