On Thursday, January 15, The Community Foundation of the Dan River Region (CFDRR) awarded $45,700 in grants during a reception held at The Prizery. Five nonprofit agencies in the community were the recipients of The Foundation’s 2025-26 Competitive Grant Cycle.
“My service on the Board of Directors for CFDRR is so rewarding,” said Board President, Vince P. Kania, Jr. “It is special to witness the level of caring present in both the donors who establish funds to create support, and the organizations who are putting in so much effort to complete the work. The Competitive Grant Cycle Reception highlights the projects and the donors who made these projects possible.”
