For the Danville Anti Litter Campaign – Love the Dan River – DRBA and Danville Parks and Recreation will be installing this design on trash cans around the city and along the Dan River. Did you know? Something as simple as throwing your trash away properly can make a huge difference for our local environment, wildlife, public health and safety. Statistics show that 40% of the general population admits to dropping litter even though it is considered illegal.
