Keokee and Autism Education Fund grant applications due February 20

The Community Foundation of the Dan River Region is now accepting applications for two education funds.

The Keokee Fund’s purpose is to support the education of academically gifted students. The grants will be used to provide support for organizations, schools, classrooms and students that are academically gifted in the surrounding area. Grants totaling up to $1,200 are available from the Keokee Fund. Download the Keokee Fund application here.

The Autism Education Fund’s purpose is to support local autism education- related programs or organizations benefiting individuals, families, educators and the Dan River Region community.  The grants will be used to provide support for educators, supplement costs of educational services and promote autism awareness in the surrounding area. Grants totaling up to $25,750 are available. Download the Autism Education Fund application here.

The deadline for Autism and Keokee applications to be received is February 20, 2017.
