CFDRR’s 25th Anniversary: Celebrating Key Milestones in Our History

In 1996, the Foundation was originally named the DPC Community Foundation.  In 2004, the name changed to The Community Foundation of the Dan River Region.  In 2017, the Foundation released a new logo and branding.

Anniversary Campaign Update

CFDRR is thrilled to announce the 25th Anniversary Campaign has raised $27,950, $2,950 in excess of its $25,000 goal! The campaign will continue to accept contributions through December 31, 2021.The campaign focus areas include Emergency Preparedness, Animal Services, Arts and Culture, Community Development, Health and Wellness, Education and Youth Development, Human Services, and Scholarships.  Please consider a donation to one or more of these worthwhile program areas or to a fund of your choice. The Foundation is deeply appreciative of all gifts received.

25th Anniversary Story Published in Area Magazines

The Community Foundation is excited to announce the publication of “Celebrating 25 Years: Community Foundation of the Dan River Region,” a feature article written by Katherine Milam, Executive Director.
